B.U supports individuals with an exceptionality. I, Sha-Nichole, am an advocate for adults with disabilities. Furthermore, I am a member of the Council of Exceptional Children (CEC). Also, I have been working in the field of education for over 20 years, with a certification in Special Education. I never imagined that I would be identified as a person with a disability… Never know how life can take a turn, but GOD!

In 2022, I learned that I had a disability as a result from a second brain tumor. I would have never thought that one day I would be making this statement, “I have a disability” as a special education advocate for over 20 years. Therefore, as an adult with a disability I must encourage those experiencing the same walk to keep the faith and accomplish their goals, while encouraging myself.

This page is dedicated to the organizations B.U partners with for adults with disabilities. Adults with a disability can grow, learn, and accomplish goals with an exceptionality. Living with an exceptionality does not keep people from living the purpose GOD has for them on this side of the land.
